SCHOOL NURSE - Part-time position

We are searching for a qualified nurse or training nurse, as part-time support to our school nurse (SN), to help her taking care of day- to- day tasks such as:

• Assisting sick/wounded students
• Assisting with special health needs ( e.g. diabetes, allergies) students
• Administrative tasks in liaison with HR for insurance claims in case of accidents
• First aid response in case of accident/emergency
• Supervision of infirmary in case of absence of the SN
• Help during school events

Requirements:

1. Higher intermediate to Advanced levels of spoken and written English
2. Available for a part-time position 
3. Own car and driving licence

One-to-one part-time assistant

We are searching for a one-to-one assistant as support to one of our middle-year students, primarily in the area of behavior management.

The position requires adaptability, patience, and a very good knowledge of English and Italian, with French being desirable. Previous experiences in similar roles with middle school-aged children and some knowledge of Maths and/or science would also be preferable.

 You would:

• Provide pastoral support to the student;

• Support the provision for the student in relation to social, emotional, and behavioral development,

• Challenge and motivate students, promoting and reinforcing self-esteem;

• Provide 1:1 support for students experiencing emotional/behavioral crises;

• Support the student when not working effectively within usual classroom routines;

• Support the student to make appropriate choices about their learning and behaviour.
