History
Over the past 60 years, the International School of Turin has strived to always improve itself, enhancing the Campus and the facilities at student disposal but also its Academic Portfolio, to be the first International School in the territory.
1963
Is founded the "American International School of Torino" near Caselle from a group managers of American Companies

1966
The school moves to Villa Virginia in the hills of Turin, near Superga



1974
Villa Mogna, Pecetto, ACAT opens with 180 students


1977
The student body is separeted into two divisions with Villa Sacro Cuore housing the lower school, Pecetto



1984
The school receives the accreditations by the NEAASC and ECIS associations


1985
IST estabilished the new Villa Roddolo Campus, to allow further growth


1990
The school obtains the IB Diploma authorization from the International Baccalaureate Organiztion

1992
Graduates the first IB Class


2006
The school receives the authorization to offer the IB Primary Years Programme

2008
The school receives the authorization to offer the IB Middle Years Programme

2010
Is estabilished the new Campus in Chieri and is introduced the Good School Food Programme


2012
IST hosts the first TOMUN
2013
IST receives the certification as an Eco School

2016
IST celebrates its 25 years anniversary of the Diploma Programme

2022
30th Anniversary of the first IB Class Graduation


2023
IST 60th Anniversary
